River Clean-ups

Since 1996 we have hosted annual river clean-ups on and around the Pequannock River. These events have spanned diverse locations, targeting some major problems, including a dumping ground in the West Milford/Jefferson area. However, our main event is the summer clean-up held in the lower watershed through West Milford, Butler, Bloomingdale, Kinnelon, Riverdale and Pequannock. This clean-up is a joint undertaking with support from all these communities and enormous assistance from the Bloomingdale Clean Communities program.
